I can’t begin to explain to you how hard it is to tell you about myself when I am in the midst of so much reflection and growth. I’ve sat here trying to figure out what to share and found myself daydreaming instead… Who am I? lol I don’t even know!

The basics are pretty simple I suppose, my name is April and I grew up in Texas. I am a single mom of a son and a daughter that are both happily married to their high school sweethearts. They have blessed me with four grandchildren that call me Gigi. I have a successful career in the construction industry and have been fortunate to work with a lot of amazing people.

Throughout my lifetime I’ve dealt with many life experiences that have transformed my entire self. My life isn’t one that I look at as traumatic but rather one of resilience. I don’t live in a sad place of shame or self doubt but rather of great happiness. I believe there’s a quote somewhere that says you can’t know great happiness without great sadness….which I tend to believe is the direct purpose of knowing both as well as growing closer to God. I use this platform to share my experiences as a testament to Gods mercy, grace and unconditional love.
